Jay Coldwell, FSA, MAAA worked for 36 years as a health insurance actuary and product manager, and is now a partner at 5 Koshas Yoga and Wellness in Wausau, WI. Jay has cultivated a lifelong interest in scripture, sacred music and chant that finds much resonance in the sounds and teachings of the Yoga Sutra, the Upanishads, and non-dualism. He is pursuing certification in iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation. Jay is an iRest Level 2 Teacher, having studied with Richard Miller and Stephanie Lopez. Jay has also studied kirtan leadership with Mike Cohen. He continues to study yoga sutra and Vedic chant with Linda. Jay has studied Sanskrit chant at the Vedic Chant Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with Sonia Nelson and Linda Spackman. He is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200 hour level with Yoga Alliance. Jay is certified as a 200 hour Viniyoga Wellness Instructor from the River Flow Yoga Teacher Training School and the American Viniyoga Institute.
